Application of Shinkai’s Metal Filter in the Lithium Battery Industry

Pure titanium porous metal filters are widely used in the crystal concentration production process of precursors. Whether it is a normal dead-end filter or dynamic cross-flow filtration to cope with high-concentration solid-liquid separation, Shinkai’s products can operate stably.

As global energy and environmental issues become increasingly serious, lithium-ion batteries, as energy conversion and storage systems, have become a key link in the development of new energy. They are mainly composed of positive and negative electrode materials, electrolytes, diaphragms, etc., as shown in the figure below.

Among them, the positive electrode material of lithium-ion batteries is the core and key part of lithium-ion batteries, which can significantly improve the capacity, cycle stability and rate performance of lithium-ion batteries. In order to solve the problems of solid-liquid separation under strong acid conditions and gas-solid separation under high temperature conditions of 700-800℃ in the production process of lithium-ion positive electrode materials, Shinkai uses high-temperature resistant, corrosion-resistant, and high-precision filtering devices.

Metal filters without any magnetic materials are widely used in the filtration of steam from battery materials, low-resistance metal filters are also widely used in the dust removal process at the head and tail of the kiln of battery materials to deal with environmental pollution. Shinkai perfectly achieves the dual benefits of economy and environmental protection, and improves production continuity, safety and economy.
